We were happy to find that this place had a former employee of the much-missed Haight St. Truly Med., but alas, that didn't mean we had enjoyable food. Sarah had 2 eggs with bacon and I had 2 eggs with sausage. Both were around $7 or so. We sipped too-bitter coffee as we waited for our dishes, Sarah's a house coffee, mine a cappucino, neither good.

Our plates were brought to our table quickly enough, but we were sad to find limp, sodden home potatoes and flavorless eggs heaped upon them. The toast was my supermarket favorite, Orowheat. The sausage had little to recommend it - it was a greasy lump, like so many others.

The crowd at 9am on a Sunday appeared to be mostly from the nearby church. All told, we found ourselves wishing we'd gone to the nearby Liberty Bakery instead. Not worth a repeat visit.
