Although when I eat at Q, it's usually for dinner, I've had weekend brunch here a few times as well. Overall, it's decent, and worth a try if you're in the Inner Clement and wanting brunch.

Most recently I had the breakfast hash, cubed beef and cubed potatoes topped with 3 poached eggs and served with toast on the side. The beef and potatoes had a lovely texture, especially once they were tossed with the runny yolks of the eggs, but they were a bit bland, short on salt and seasonings for my taste. The toast was inedibly dry, almost brittle, ho hum.

Sarah's chilaquese (how that differs from a chilaquile I couldn't say) was better, with a nice tang, and good black beans on the side. The eggs in it, however, were scrambled, and I much prefer them (barely) cooked in.

Service was fine, coffee was robust, and a mimosa with freshly-squeezed OJ was also lovely. Portions, like dinner, are very large, and prices are reasonable.

There's no reason to make a special trip to have brunch here, but it's a fine choice for the area. For a more traditional Sunday brunch, nearby Clement Street Bar and Grill is a better choice, though.
