Okay breakfast food with no-frills ambience, but cheery service. Decor is basic plastic diner furniture (booths & tables), with a couple of TVs on the walls, an open counter and some generic art scattered about on the walls. It's a pretty large restaurant, and has something of an unwelcome dingy feel to it.

I had "Famous Lou's Special" ($5.95, a scramble of corned beef, mushrooms, spinach, onion, garlic & eggs), which was actually pretty darned tasty, but Sarah's benedict special however, was bland, and both of our hash browns were dissapointing (soggy and not very browned). The coffee was terrible, tasting burnt and bitter. The place has a kind of grimy gloom hanging over it, making us not want to linger - not worth a repeat visit, IMO.
