Good seafood with a cajun flair, served in a nice atmosphere. Sarah & I started (after our complimentary jello shots, a nice touch!) with tasty "Alligator Eggs" ($7.25, a pasta shell stuffed with goat cheese, crawfish tails, creole spices and sausage sauce), which we agreed would make a fine entree as well, if they were available by the threes. My entree of PJ's Shellfish Roast ($26) arrived a towering pile of assorted seafood (mussels, clams, whole prawns, calamari, swordfish, snapper and a crab claw - pheew!) with a trough of rice and red beans on the side. The clams, fish and calamari were very good, but the mussels didn't have all that much flavor and the prawns were a bit mealy. The heavily spiced cajun sauce was tasty indeed and made for a good sop with the provided bread. A second round of jello shots arrived mid-meal making us glad we walked here (okay, so we each had a cocktail & glass of beer/wine too)! Service was pretty good. Not a cheap meal, but a fun one.
