Good mediterranean food, the usual fare of tabbouleh (so-so), falafel (good), baba ghanouj (pretty good), hummus (tasty) and the like. Nice exotic, trendy atmosphere, with dim lighting, hookahs (which you can actually smoke at the bar), and pillow seating. Worth a visit for the fun decor, but there are better places in the bay area for the food.

Unless I'm very mistaken, this restaurant has no relationship to the similarly-named Kan Zeman in Palo Alto (which has somewhat better food, but nowhere near the atmosphere).
