This is the only Nepalese restaurant I know of anywhere, but from what
I had, I wish there were more. Soft and elegant decor and smiling
service greeted us when we entered.
For a starter, Sarah and I had the pork dumplings, which arrived looking exactly like potstickers, but our dismay was short-lived, as they tasted completely different (much better!). The pork was mixed with peanuts and some delightful spices.
Like most non-Indian cuisines I've had from this general area, the entrees don't differ too greatly from northern Indian cuisine, though there are some small differences in preparation and spice. We ordered a pair of chicken dishes, one a curry and one with radishes, amongst other things. Both were very good, although they were a little too similar - we probably should have ordered a non-chicken entree to get a little more diversity. The radish in my chicken dish was definitely not any sort of radish I've seen in the market, but it was very tasty.
This place is definitely worth a visit if you're in the mood for something a little different.
