Death Valley Double Century

A cyclist climbing Salsburry Pass in the >100F heat

A really colorful mountain near Ashford Mills

The Ashford Mills rest stop, on my way back. The staffers seemed less chipper than they had on the way south, not to mention the riders!

This must've been a sick joke the NPS was playing on us.

More colorful mountains, hum de dum :)

Riding in the intolerable heat at 200 feet below sea level

Multicolored hills between Ashford Mills and Badwater

Although it was hot and I was suffering, at least the views were nice!

Even with the semi-shade provided by the clouds, it was very hot, about 104F. Just around this mountain is where I called it quits.
