2004 Pinnacles National Monument Trip

Balconies Cliffs

This was my first trip as an adult to Pinnacles National Monument, and Sarah and I were very much looking forward to spending a long weekend in the area. Pinnacles is a hiker's park (no other activities are permitted), and with just 30 miles of (maintained) trail, we figured we could cover pretty much all of it in 4 days.

We were both surprised by the beauty and isolation of the Monument, so close to the Bay Area (expect weekend crowds!), and had a fabulous time with our luxurious car camping!
